TONY HSIEH, General Manager
Prior to co-founding Venture Frogs, LLC, Tony Hsieh
co-founded
LinkExchange, Inc. During his tenure at LinkExchange, Tony
was
responsible for architecting some of the major technologies
for the
company and served on the Board of Directors. His creativity
led to
the creation of many services to help web site owners grow
their
online traffic and sales. To date, these services have been
used by
over one million Internet users, generated significant
year-to-year
revenue growth and made LinkExchange a well-known brand name
with a reach of over 50% of Internet connected households.
Prior to
LinkExchange, Tony worked as a Software Engineer at Oracle.
Tony
received a B.A. in computer science from Harvard University
in
1995.
ALFRED LIN, General Manager
Prior to co-founding Venture Frogs, LLC, Alfred Lin held
positions of
increasing responsibility at LinkExchange, Inc., most
recently as
Vice President of Finance and Secretary. During his tenure
at
LinkExchange, Alfred managed financial planning and
analysis,
cash reserves, two acquisitions, and the sale of the company
to
Microsoft Corporation. Under Alfred's financial management
of over
two and a half years, the company raised over $3.5 million
in
equity
and over $1.0 million in debt financing but used only $3.0
million before
being sold to Microsoft which generated significant returns
to
investors and employees. Alfred received a B.A. in applied
mathematics from Harvard University in 1994, a M.S. in
statistics
from Stanford University in 1996 and currently is a Ph.D
candidate
at Stanford University.
